Activate Your Phone

Follow the instructions below to activate your phone if it has not already been activated. Depending on your account or how and where you purchased your phone, it may be ready to use or you may need to activate it on your Sprint account.

Note: For security reasons, you will need your Sprint phone number and PIN to use this activation method.

Tip: You can also try Device Self Service for activation. See Device Self Service.

  1. Turn on your new phone. (Make sure the old one is turned off.) Your phone will automatically attempt Hands-Free Activation.
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the activation process.
  3. After you have completed the wizard, make a phone call to confirm your activation.

If your phone is still not activated or you do not have access to the Internet, contact Sprint Customer Service at 1-888-211-4727 for assistance.

Tip: Do not press End-Power key icon while the phone is being activated. Pressing End-Power key icon cancels the activation process.
