Wi-Fi Calling

Wi-Fi Calling is a free service that allows you to make and receive phone calls over a Wi-Fi network, even when your wireless signal is low. If you have a limited Talk plan, Wi-Fi Calling doesn't count against your minutes. Once connected, you place and receive calls just like normal.

Set Up Wi-Fi Calling

  1. Tap home key > all apps icon > settings app icon Settings.
  2. Tap Wi-Fi Calling, and then tap the switch to turn Wi-Fi Calling on.
  3. Follow the screen prompts to set up Wi-Fi Calling.
  • Wi-Fi Calling is set up. You will see wifi calling active status icon in the status bar when Wi-Fi Calling is active, or wifi calling inactive status icon if Wi-Fi Calling is set up but you are not currently connected to a Wi-Fi network.
